A new brand is launching on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, ending a 20-year network relationship for one family business.
LJ Hooker Balgowlah is no more, with directors Tony and Angus White rebranding their business to Whitehouse Real Estate as they look for “ultimate independence and potential for expansion”.
“We’ve been selling homes in the area for 35 years, so launching Whitehouse represents the evolution of our family business and our next chapter,” Angus White explained.
He said the opportunity to shift into the boutique space and rebrand was “a highly strategic move that sets us up for long-term expansion so we can service more markets”. “It will also give us the agility to keep up with the faster pace of the industry on today’s terms,” he said.
Despite the new name and new-found independence, the directors noted the 20-year relationship with LJ Hooker has ended on a positive note.
For Mr White, “this is an opportunity to set ourselves apart from competitors by operating under an independent brand that is more reflective of who we are, what we stand for, and where we are headed”.
“It also reflects the strong connectivity we have with the local landscape,” he continued.
The director said that Whitehouse Real Estate has invested heavily in gearing its business “around the best systems, people and technology”.
According to Mr White, it’s to provide customers with a great experience — “we can service them even better moving forward”.
